“Everyday is an opportunity to achieve peace and social justice one community and person at a time”
— Dominic Archibald (Founder)
The Nathaniel H. Pickett II Foundation (NHP2 Foundation) is a non-profit organization founded by Dominic Archibald in loving memory of her son Nathaniel H. Pickett II known as “Nate”. Nate was tragically shot and killed by a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy during a 2015 encounter at his place of residence. Nate was not armed, nor did he commit a crime (this was proven in a court of law).

“Community violence. Police Killings. Domestic violence. May put a large crack in our individual, family and community armor but we cannot let it break us. We must fight for justice, vote for candidates that truly serve us and our needs and take care of our physical and mental health. Every person and every case matters!”
— COL (R) Dominic Archibald, Mother of Nathaniel “Nate” Pickett II, Director of the NHP2 Foundation
