NATE’S STORY
Nathaniel H. Pickett II known as “Nate” was tragically shot and killed by a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy during a 2015 encounter at his place of residence. Nate, like the rest of humanity was not just a statistic. He was a Beloved Son, Brother and former college student at Hampton University. He was honest, loyal, smart, funny, talented, athletic with an endearing smile and a life that ended unjustly.
